3DS: Nintendo Makes The Third Dimension to Mobile

Nintendo presents E3, its first new portable games console 3DS, to the public. As the name suggests, is to enable the successor DSi games in 3D – all without the usual spectacles.

3DS

Externally, the black and red presented 3DS remembers very clearly on its successful predecessors, has under the housing, however, some did. Again, two displays are used, however, provides only the lower touch properties. Unlike the DSi will be used this time to interact with the screen, no stylus, as usual, and now nearly on any current mobile device, ranging from finger perfectly. This is exactly why Nintendo abandoned the way to making even the top of the screen to touch: finger prints would obviously impact negatively on this display, the 3D effect.

The Blackberry Pearl 9100 3G – A Review

Perhaps you’ve already heard of the Blackberry Pearl 9100 3G. It is the latest mobile phone announced by smart phone manufacturing giant Research in Motion (RIM), the company responsible for creating the Blackberry brand, which is now a household name when it comes to smart phone. This phone will be released sometime in the 3rd quarter of 2010 but already the internet is buzzing with reviews on this phone due to the high level of interest generated by any new Blackberry device.

Blackberry Pearl 9100 3G

A Guaranteed Great Buy

This new offering is actually the smallest Blackberry phone in the market today, and is pretty straight forward when it comes to the specifications. It is not ground breaking in anyway, but is still a very good buy especially for those who would like to have their very first smart phone.

The Typical Classic Blackberry Look

If there’s one thing RIM does well, it is to design classic looking phones that are very attractive yet very business like at the same time. This is one of the reasons why Blackberry devices are very popular – they always look really good. The Blackberry Pearl 9100 3G follows the footsteps of all the other Blackberry phones out there – it has a classic yet elegant candy bar design. Perhaps RIM might decide to come out with a flip design for the 9100, but this is merely speculation.

It measures only 108 mm x 50 mm x 13.3 mm and is very pocket friendly with its weight of 93 grams. Truly, the time of bulky smart phones seem to be over at last. This phone comes with a 20 key condensed QWERTY keyboard which also has the trademark SureType software to help you out when you are texting by completing the words for you.

It also has a touch sensitive optical track pad that would surely make it easier for you to get around your phone’s features. Its sharp TFT display screen has a resolution of 360 x 400 pixels and is capable of showing up to 256k colours.

The Usual Solid Blackberry Specifications

For such a small phone, you’ll love how powerful the Blackberry Pearl 9100 3G is. That’s because despite its size, the power of its processor (624 Mhz no less) is not compromised at all. The phone comes with an internal memory of 256 MB, which should be more than sufficient for all your files. If this proves insufficient, you can always expand the memory by up to 32 GB by using the phone’s built in micro SD memory card slot. Just to start things off for you, RIM has included a free pre-installed 2 GB memory card.

The phone comes with the Blackberry OS version 5.0, which is quite a significant improvement compared to the previous operating systems for mobile phones. It also comes with a 1150 mAhr battery which is guaranteed to last up to 5.5 hours of talk time when using 3G network and slightly longer than that when using 2G network. Find all the latest BlackBerry Pearl 3G offers at Moby1 from amongst the best phone contracts including mobile phones with free gifts.

Solutions For Privacy Issues With Vehicle Tracking

The main disadvantage that people come up with for fleet tracking is privacy. Many think that these people are just wingers. Others think that it is a serious problem. Others feel that it is only a problem in certain situations.

Solutions For Privacy Issues With Vehicle Tracking

Whatever you think it is a debate that continues and this is why some of the vehicle tracking companies are trying to come up with solutions to the privacy problem. One solution that is now being tested is a privacy button on the tracking system. It is more aimed at the company car market where the drivers are legitimately allowed to use the car for personal use out of office hours.

What happens if the employee uses his company car out of office hours they are allowed to press the privacy button and then the journey is no longer visible live on the vehicle tracking software application. Then at a later date the managers can retrieve fuel usage information, mileage information and certain other information that they need for paperwork reasons. The historic journey reporting can also be viewed if needs be, but what it means is that employees cannot be spied on live. Some people say this is great half way point and others say the solution is a cop out.
