In 40PFL9704H really lies in there all the best of Philips to offer technical features. The image looks very good, from whatever source it comes. Okrem toho, the device offers superior features with many interfaces and practical Internet functions. All but a high price: you have to put roughly 2,050 euros for the 40-inch model on the table – but you also get a really nice package.

Alternatíva
The Sony KDL-40Z5800 offers just a tad bit better picture quality than the Philips TV. It also has 200Hz technology on board, but relies on a classical background lighting with fluorescent bulbs, which does not detract from the outstanding image quality. For the Internet capabilities to give you as compared to Philips, although on a free browser, and WLAN, it will cost the unit at a price of about € 1,250 but some good 800 euros less.
