Apple Time Capsule Backup Solution Extended to 2 TB
That is the 500-gigabyte model from the program. Apple has not adjusted the prices so that customers get twice the storage capacity per euro. The 1-TB version costs 269 euros now, the 2-TB version 449 Евро.
Apple offers in its online store from now on a larger version of its backup solution Time Capsule. In addition to the 1-TB-model, there is now also a version available with 2 TB of disk space.
The prices Apple has not changed, so that customers will now receive twice as much space per euro. The 1-TB version costs 269 Евро, with as much as the smallest ever with 500 GB model, which is no longer available. The 2-TB variant, there is the recent price of the 1 TB version for 449 Евро.
Except for the larger space, the new model with existing backup solutions is identical to a combination of external hard drive and wireless router in accordance with IEEE-802.11-be draft-n specification. It works with Apple TV, iPhone, iPod Touch and other wireless devices.
Time Capsule is set up as a backup medium for Time Machine, it performs all the backups automatically in the background and, if requested by wireless. From the second backup, only changed data is backed up.
